Q: So, what is a Presidential Caucus?
A:
A Presidential Caucus is a get-together of neighbors who meet in
precincts in different neighborhoods all over the state to both
discuss and choose their party's nominee for President.
Q: What can I do at the Presidential Caucus?
A:
At the
Presidential Caucus you will be able to voice support for the
Democratic Presidential Candidate of your choice. You will also
be able to discuss local politics and issues that you'd like to
see addressed in the Democratic Party platform, as well as run
as a delegate to the County Convention this Spring.
Q: Where will
my Caucus be held?
A: There are over 520 caucus locations across the state. To find
out where your caucus location is, just click
here.
Q: Who can
participate? Can I bring a friend?
A: Any registered
Democrat living in Nevada can participate. If you are 17 years
of age and will be 18 by the time of the general election in
November you can also participate, just make sure you register
to vote before you do. If you would like to participate but are
not currently a registered Democrat, you can register the day of
the Caucus at your Caucus location. You are also encouraged to
bring a friend with you, so long as your friend lives in the
same precinct as you.
Q: Is there anything I need to
bring to the Caucus?
A: No. The only thing
you need to bring is yourself.
Q: How much does it cost to go to the Caucus?
A: Nothing! The Caucus
is absolutely free.
Q:
What do I wear to a Caucus?
A: Feel free to wear
shirts supporting your favorite candidate. This is not a formal
occasion, so no need to bring out your dress clothes and
business attire, just dress comfortably.
Q: How can I volunteer and be a part of this awesome experience?
A: Just call 866-737-3367!
